COLBRELLI, CANCELLARA AND ARU AT VENEtoGO ON OCTOBER 15

Those registered for the social ride will ride alongside the champions along the roads of the Pedemontana Veneta. It will be the prelude to the Veneto Classic on Sunday, October 16.

Sonny Colbrelli, Fabian Cancellara and Fabio Aru will also be at VENEtoGO, the non-competitive social ride scheduled for October 15, with departure and arrival at Villa Cà Cornaro in Romano d’Ezzelino (Vicenza), just outside Bassano del Grappa. Of course, Filippo Pozzato will also be riding with them, as he wanted this event to allow cycling enthusiasts to experience the atmosphere of Ride the Dreamland as protagonists, previewing the second part of the Veneto Classic route, where the professionals will compete the following day.

Those registered for the social ride will have the opportunity to ride side by side with the Italian and European champion and winner of the 2021 Paris-Roubaix Sonny Colbrelli. Another star of VENEtoGO, also present at the inaugural edition last year, is the “locomotive of Bern”, the great Fabian Cancellara, who has in his palmares a Milan-Sanremo, three Tours of Flanders and as many Paris-Roubaix, four world championships and two Olympics in the time trial. Another confirmed presence is that of Fabio Aru, who as an amateur took flight on these very roads, winning the Bassano-Monte Grappa and among the big names was the winner of the 2015 Vuelta, three stages in the Giro, two in the Vuelta and one in the Tour.

It promises to be a special day, therefore, for the participants in the social ride organized by PP Sport Events, which offers a route of 98 km (and a difference in altitude of 1,100 meters) and one of 80 km (difference in altitude of 800 meters).

All registered participants, who will be welcomed by a welcome banquet, will receive a premium race kit with a Santini racing jersey, Weider nutritional supplements and an Elite water bottle with dedicated graphics.

One of the attractions of VENEtoGo is undoubtedly the refreshment points, located in suggestive locations and designed to be a moment of meeting and fun, as well as to delight the palate. The first will be located after 25 kilometers, with coffee, tart, fruit and drinks. The next will be at kilometer 65 and will provide participants with bread, pizza, cold cuts and beer. The gastronomic offer expands at the third refreshment point (kilometer 90) at Diesel Farm: a food truck will prepare hamburgers accompanied by Diesel Farm wine. A music station will also be set up entrusted to a DJ. More music and entertainment at the arrival at Ca 'Cornaro, where a gourmet lunch based on fried fish will await the cyclists.
